Join us for the annual Christ Lutheran Trunk or Treat! This event is FREE and open to the public. Please invite your friends and neighbors! Stop by the Christ Lutheran booth to learn more about South Bay's Favorite Private School!

This year we will have a trunk decorating contest! Christ Lutheran families and church members are invited to decorate their trunks and pass out candy. Please no scary costumes or trunks. Please sign up your trunk in the church and school office.

You are invited to a special screening of the new Luther Movie "The Idea at Changed the World" at Christ Lutheran Church on Thursday, October 19. Dinner will be served in the gym at 6:00 PM. You are cordially invited to a "Farewell Picnic- Style Brunch" for Pastor Mark Brighton on Sunday, August 27, 2017 following the 9am Worship service. This is a special "Thank You' to Pastor Brighton for his service to God's ministry at Christ Lutheran Church.

We are pleased to announce our school was recently voted "Favorite Private School" in the South Bay by the Daily Breeze. One of our number one missions here at Christ Lutheran Church is to support Christian Education, specifically at Christ Lutheran School. We are so pleased with this news and would like to congratulate the faculty and staff of Christ Lutheran School. We are so blessed to be a church body who supports those who have faith in Jesus Christ, presents and lives the Gospel to all and develops the God-given gifts of students and families.

In addition to the electronic version of our newsletter found here on our website, we also mail a hard copy to each Christ Lutheran Church member. If you would like a hard copy mailed directly to you, please call the church office at 310-831-0848 and we will be happy to send one out to you!

You are invited to a celebration for the retirement of Nancy Swanlund on July 30, 2017 following the 10:00am Worship Service at Our Savior Palm Springs. Location is 1020 East Ramon Rd. Palm Springs, CA 92264. Lunch will be served followed by a recognition of Nancy's ministry. A basket will be provided for cards and well wishes.
